Dakota was my 140lb Wolf x Sheppard mix. Sweetest dog you would have wanted to meet. He made it to 14+ years old and and had a very active entertaining life. Between the numerous 14,000 ft peaks he made with me, to the escape attempts ending up with him wandering the neighborhood with his new "pack" for 3 days and then getting bored and coming home.

It was noted in the Vet's file "very happy dog", which described him perfectly. He had so much energy and it forced me to stay active. He made friends with my friends Samoyed Husky, and Min Pin, and together they had a nice little pack of their own. I wish he could have lived forever but unfortunately on Monday it was his time, I was not going to let him suffer no matter how much I wanted him here forever.

Thanks for being a great dog and I will always miss you Dakota. I am fine so feel free to take off and wander and enjoy yourself wherever that is...Love ya buddy

Dakota,

I'm sorry I never got to meet you, but I'm sure you were a very special dog and I'm sure you had a good life because you were loved very much.

Look around for a pack of little white dogs and tell my Alpen that I miss her alot. She's a little aloof, but she and her mom, Clare, are good hunters, so you guys can have some good times together once she warms up to you.

Be a good boy. Randy will be there before you know it since time has no meaning there. :)

Kota,
You are and were so loved. You were an amazingly sweet boy. I'll miss your "talking" on the phone. Love you always.
