April has been a very busy month for me, and as a result I didn't have as much time to work on the site as I would have liked. Nevertheless, the April 2010 dog photo contest turned out to be a success because of pet parents like yourself.
As always, there were some great dog pictures to be seen, and the competition was pretty fierce. It seems as though some participants fully harnessed the power of email and social networking in an attempt to get as many five paw votes for their pictures and stories as they could.
That is fine with us so long as each vote is from a unique, real person. We can tell if it is one person voting for themselves, which happens from time to time! Now that most areas of North America have started to defrost after a very cold, atypically harsh winter, we should see a lot more pictures of people out and about with their pups!
We can't wait to see what May has in store for us! Thank you all so much for participating in our friendly competition. This site would be nothing without great visitors like you!
