i ain't nothing but a hound dog

Sadie is a blue-tick Coonhound that was a rescue from a shelter on her last day. I was in looking for a dalmatian I heard that they had, sadly that dog was already gone. I was looking around when I saw this sick puppy in the sick dog ward laying and not getting up off a bed for nothing, not even to eat. I asked to see her and they must of thought I was crazy.

They told me her breed and said they are not always the best dogs and they can never be off leash. Fast forward two years almost three since I adopted her. She is a Canine Good Citizen and will be taking her Therapy dog certification soon. She is the light of my life!

Not only can Sadie be off the leash, but she also competes in agility competitions. Though her love for the simpler things in life do come in to play quite often, she can be found sleeping on my bed and on rainy days that sleep extends towards 18 hours.
