She Who Must Be Obeyed! Stany in 2007

Stany was an exceedingly unique mix of Belgian Shepherd (we think) and Pharaoh Hound (we think). Her ears were too big for her head and she frequently sat sphinx-like staring at me. She had boundless energy, loved chasing toys, wrestling, running at the dog park and racing down the street.

She loved, nay, demanded attention, but she also was pretty good on obeying. She was such an alpha dog but as loving as could be. She was so happy to play with her friends (someone at the dog park called her the "happy dog"), and she gave so much love to those who loved her.

For several years after I adopted her (she had been abandoned) her gratitude and love for me for saving her was so evident. She also loved Marco very much, as much as he loved her. None who knew her will ever forget her.
