Working Dog Breeds The working dog breeds are those service animals that most commonly work as search and rescue dogs, in dog sledding teams, guardians and protectors of family and property, or as carting dogs. Yes, as silly and foreign as it might sound, there are dogs that are specifically bred to haul stuff around! Interesting huh?
